Another Halloween is now in the history books! This year we decided to mix things up and take a 7 hour road trip to visit friends and family down in the residential neighborhood of Silver Lake, Los Angeles California (well, we also swung by Disneyland and California Adventure for a couple of days beforehand but more on that later). And boy howdy, did this spot turn out to be a real goldmine of a suburb for trick or treating. Like something ripped straight out of an Amblin flick from the 80’s with kids running rampant through the streets, parents nervously checking in with each other about their offsprings’ whereabouts and houses absolutely tricked out for the big day.
This one is gonna be hard to top.
But first, like any Halloween worth having should begin, we kicked it all off with a viewing of The Worst Witch during breakfast. After which…
…it was time to hit the streets.
